Adams, R. D.
R. D. Adams was one of the early photographers of Southern Utah 
and Nevada. For five decades, he took pictures of individuals,
families, street scenes, parades, celebrations, school
children, and Bryce Canyon, Zion, and Cedar Breaks parks.
Beaver (UT) Murdock Academy
Beginning as the Beaver Branch of Brigham Young University, 
the school became independent in 1908 and was renamed Murdock 
Academy. It offered a 4 year high school program until its closing in 1922.
Branch Agricultural College
Administrative oversight of the college switched to the Utah State Agricultural 
College in 1913, resulting in the name, Branch Agricultural College (BAC). The 
photographs in this collection are from 1913 to 1953.
Branch Normal School
Founded in 1897 as the Southern Branch of the State Normal School, 
the institution was called simply the Branch Normal School (BNS). 
The photographs in this collection are from 1897 to 1913.
College of Southern Utah
Southern Utah University was known as the College of Southern Utah
from 1953 to 1969. These photographs give an insight into college 
events and life during that time.
Crawford Family, Zion National Park
This collection consists of diaries and photographs by William Louis 
Crawford, 1873-1935, and his son, J. L. (Jasper Louis) Crawford, 1914-. 
They lived and farmed in what later became Zion National Park.
Dixie National Forest
Dixie National Forest Photograph Collection contains photographs 
taken during the 20th Century on and near the largest national forest in Utah.
Drama
The Southern Utah University Drama Collection contains a sampling of 
photographs from theatre productions during the 70's, 80's, and 90's.
Driggs, Howard R.
This section of the Howard R. Driggs Archive contains photographs 
of historical places and events during his work with trail associations and historical publishing. Also included are illustrations by William Henry Jackson, illustrator and photographer of the American West.
Early College Catalogs, Southern Utah University
This collection contains the earliest college catalogs from the Branch 
Normal School, starting in 1897. The catalogs give insights into the 
educational environment, officers and instructors, courses offered, and 
students enrolled.
Emery County (UT) History
This collection contains photos showing the history of Castle Valley:  
towns, people, coal mining, the uranium boom, ranching, Fremont and  
Archaic Culture rock art, dinosaur fossils, the Huntington wooly mammoth 
discovery, and unique geologic formations and history of the San Rafael Swell.
Frontier Homestead State Park
Formerly the Iron Mission State Park, the Frontier Homestead State
Park tells about the early development of Iron County. In the
1850s Brigham Young sent Mormon missionaries to mine and process
iron. The displays include horse-drawn vehicles used from 1850 to 1920
and a collection of Indian and pioneer artifacts.
Jones, Homer
Homer Jones grew up helping his father, Randall L. Jones, photograph 
and promote the scenic beauty of Utah's national parks. The images here represent the scenery he learned to love and events in the schools
and communities of southern Utah.
Iron County (UT) Extension Office
This collection has photographs taken from the annual reports submitted 
by the Iron County Agricultural Agent during the years 1916-1948.
Iron Mining District (Iron County, Utah)
Mining has been the principal industry in the Cedar City area 
for 150 years. The photographs in this collection document
mining industry activities from the 1920s to the 1980s.
Leigh, Allen
Contains images of scenery and life in Southern Utah. 
Ashdown Gorge, Brian Head, Cedar Breaks, and Navaho Lake are featured. 
His photographs also show the activities of Utah Parks Company employees.
Palmer, William R.
This collection is a visual record of life centered in the Southern Utah
area. It includes the activities of Paiute Indians and Anglo-Americans 
during the years 1900 to 1960 and Palmer's travels in the United States
and Europe.
Socotwa, Glen Canyon Voyage
Socotwa is a trip log of participant activities and photographs from 
a river rafting voyage through the Glen Canyon area of the
Colorado River from June 11-19, 1958.
Stream on Cedar Mountain
Southern Utah State College
Boyd D. Redington was employed as a photographer for Southern Utah State College. This collection contains his photographs of the Southern Utah area.
Southwest Utah Livestock Association
The Southwest Utah Livestock Association Collection contains 
photographs of prize winners and activities at the livestock show 
annually held in Cedar City, Utah.
Utah Parks Company
The Utah Parks Company, a subsidiary of Union Pacific Railroad, 
employed thousands of college students to operate restaurants,
lodging, and bus tours in Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon and Cedar
Breaks parks from 1923 to 1973.
