About Government Documents in the SUU Library

• As a member of the Federal Depository Library Program, the SUU Library regularly receives documents from federal and state agencies. These documents are placed in the Main Collection and Media Collection by subject call number (e.g., U.S. Geological Survey documents often are placed in the QE call number, for Geology).
• Use the SUU Library Catalog to search for government documents held by the library.
• Browse the Reference Collection in the call number AY (almanacs) and HA (statistics) for statistical collections.

SUU Library Subscription Databases

• LexisNexis Covers news, government and politics, business, law, biographies, state and country profiles, medicine and health, and reference information. Full text articles. Click Reference to search for Country Profiles, Polls & Surveys, State Profiles, and the World Almanac.
• STAT-USA National Trade Database, domestic and international marketing information, and national economic statistics; from the Department of Commerce. This database is accessible only in the Library; ask at the Reference Desk for the password.

  Primarily statistics on social and economic conditions in the United States, with selected international data. The Statistical Abstract is published annually and, due to copyright issues, some of the statistical tables in the print edition are not available online.
